Effective June 1,
2010 Alta has made changes to the private storage billing. Customers
will now be invoiced monthly and will no longer pay for storage 6
months in advance.
What does this
mean for changes?
You will only
pay for the days of the month that you have inventory in the
warehouse not the entire month.
You will no
longer pay for storage in advance.
You will be
invoiced monthly (total units X per day rate X number of days in the
month). You will also receive a copy of all transactions (inventory
movement) on your account along with your invoice.
Minimum storage
customers (accounts with less than 130 units) will only be invoiced
when their storage total hits $75.00 or on the 12th month, whichever
comes first. This will avoid having you receive small $1.00 - $6.00
invoices each month.
All private
storage customers have been invoiced for their storage up to April
30th, 2010.
There will be no
storage invoicing for the month of May, 2010. For some customers
with large inventory this will be a significant savings.
Monthly storage
billing will begin June 1, 2010. You will receive your first monthly
invoice the first week of July for June billing. This balance will
be due 30 days from the invoice date.
If you do not
receive a storage invoice it means that you have not reached the
minimum storage threshold of $75.00. If you have a monthly
production charge or other invoices totaling more than $75.00; your
storage will be invoiced that month.
